Love the care-free easy read of these books. Good for a laugh.
Evanovich's series with Stephanie Plum as the sometimes bumbling bounty hunter is very entertaining. I started with #1 and have read them straight through to #8, enjoying every single one. I take the books with me to the gym and they take my mind off of pedaling on the Lifecycle (I hate exercise so if that happens, the book must be good). I'm sure by the time I'm done I will have read every single book i the series.
After reading these books I can understand why she is always on the Best Sellers list. After reading these 3 I went out and bought the whole series. Stephanie Plum is sassy, sexy and funny. Love the whole cast of characters. I laughed at loud at the antics of Grandma Mazur and Lula, love the sexual tension between her and Morreli and Ranger and the nerve-wracking situations she gets her self into. I like her better than Sue Grafton and Mary Higgins Clark put together. TRISH PFAFF
If you have never read Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich, you're in for a treat. They are a series of 15 books following the adventures of Stephanie Plum, an erstwhile bounty hunter. They are full of zany characters and hilarious situations. You will find yourself laughing out loud as you read them. All of her books have a number in the title. Even though each book is a new story, the characters remain the same. Try just one, and you will be hooked.
I was supposed to receive books 4, 5, and 6. I received 5, 6, and 8. Can't figure out how to contact support to correct.
Totally funny. What Stephanie doesn't get herself into. Grandma is hilarious and Lulu is a riot. Unless you've read the books, you can't imagine a blone-haired Jersey girl running around trying to catch criminals. She's blown up cars, funeral homes, her apartment; and singed her hair (that's was probably her worst day ever) in the process.

You just never know what trouble she'll get herself into next. Absolutely a great read.
I am now reading book 4. I love Janet Evanovich and how she tells the stories of Stephanie Plum. I read a couple of negative comments about her books, but to me they are pure entertainment. Who cares if Stephanie eats a dozen donuts a day? I would not recommend these books if you want non-fiction and do not want to laugh out loud or be entertained. I have laughed until I've cried at some of Stephanies' capers. But then I like to laugh. It is good for the soul.
