Oh my gosh! This series just has me wrapped around it's spine. Lucan and Chloe have some MAJOR trust issues that they have to work out and along the way some 'sit on the edge of your seat' stuff is happening that left me wondering how in the world this was going to end up. Not just their story but a certain secondary character as well. I can't soak up enough of these guys and Claire Ashgrove weaves a story line that has me amazed and flipping the pages as fast as I can. Twists, turns, and flat out knock you for a loop things are happening. Love, love, love this!

Chloe Broussard has long been afraid of the dark and the denizens who lurk there. She can feel the presence of demons ever since a dig in Egypt brought her to a mysterious carving. When she looked upon the carving, it brought her to the attention of Azazel. Now Chloe has been given the lead position on a dig in France where she, along with her crew and her brother, will make a fascinating discovery - The Veil of Veronica. The Veil of Veronica is said to be the cloth with which Saint Veronica wiped the blood and sweat off Jesus' face and in doing so, an imprint of his image appeared. This holy relic is needed by the Templars, so they may keep it from Azazel. Azazel wants it more than anything so he can read the language of the angels. Lucan is the immortal Templar Knight who comes to assist her in the discovery and, of course, protect the artifact. Yet Chloe is also Lucan's seraph - the only one who is able to heal his darkened soul. Trust is the one thing both Chloe and Lucan have trouble with and it's going to take their belief in one another to have a chance of preserving the balance.

`Immortal Trust' is the third book in the "Curse of the Templars" series by Ms. Ashgrove. By this book, I was hoping we'd have some more movement on the demon butt-kicking front. Yet for every step forward, it appears the Templars are forced to take two steps back. I sincerely hope the rest of the series isn't just "Templar meet seraph, Templar and seraph have issues/miscommunications/fights, seraph is convinced to take oaths, Happily Ever After". Don't get me wrong, I like this series, but it's already seems formulaic and I'd like to see more action along with the romance. I was very much surprised at the end of the book by Chloe's actions (I don't want to spoil it), because her reaction seemed very much out of character for her. I think this series has great potential, so we'll see what the next book brings...

I love the prophesy and how it follows the books! I want to read more! The only critic is I have to go through the whole story and intricate descriptions of the story I am already obsessed with
I do hope that this great cast of characters is going to go on. I am going also hope that the next book will be out very soon. These books are a wonderful read hope everyone who loves a good love story and adventure will read these books. There are three so far read them all and you will fell as I do. I want more please.
Such a fun twist on the Templar mythos. I like the way she integrated the Archangels throughout and didn't have them as fatherly mentors nor were they uncaring task masters. I wanted to smack the heroine for being too distracted to question the changes around her but the end was satisfying.
First time I've read this author and also first review I have ever done for any of the hundreds of books I have read. I enjoyed this series so much I had to express my recommendations to any one who wishes to read a good story that has everything. A bit of history, lots of action, and lots of lovin'. The love story is all about emotion and the writer has expressed it well. The sex is not just sex, but is based on true underlying feelings between the hero and heroine. This is the kind of paranormal romance I love to read and Ms. Ashgrove does an exceptional job of putting it all together into a story I could not put down until the last page. I highly recommend this series and am hoping there will be more to come from the author.
Yet another great add to this series. Lucan and Chloe must overcome a lot of things to become the seraph/Templar pair that is foretold. Lucan senses a darkness surrounding Chloe, and mistrusts her. He needs to get over that mistrust in order to really get close to her. Chloe, on the other hand, trusts no one but her brother, because of her romantic history. She sees Lucan as a rival archeologist, who is just out to steal her find, and get all the glory of the find for himself. The Templars are still fighting with Azazel, and still trying to retrieve the holy relics that need to be kept from Azazel. We meet more of the European Templars, and get a little more background on several of them. There are set-ups for future storylines here, and more Templars are starting to emerge. Overall, it was a great addition to the series, and a great read.
